At Higher Than a B, our mission is to provide high-quality tutoring and academic enrichment programs at very affordable prices. Whether a student needs extra help to improve his or her reading and math skills, or a parent is looking for a more challenging learning experience for a child, our individualized academic programs are tailored to meet one’s needs and goals.
We believe that every child has the ability to succeed, but not every child learns at the same pace.
Our programs allow every child to stay motivated and develop a lifetime love of learning. We offer programs for children of all ages (3½ and up) as well as a variety of programs to suit each child’s specific needs:
· Toddlers/Pre-K · Kindergarteners · Homework
Club · Academic Enrichment · PSAT/SAT Preparation · Summer Program · 1:1 Private Tutoring
In addition, our programs are offered throughout the day to accommodate your busy schedule. We offer morning (9:00–12:00pm) and afternoon (1:30-4:30pm) classes for Advanced Pre-K and Kindergarteners, as well as Transitional-K and will remain open after 6:00pm and weekends for those who make prior arrangements. For Homework Club, you decide the start and end time for your child within our 3:00-6:00pm window. Arrangements may be made to attend our earlier session on Thursdays 1:30-4:30pm or during Conference Weeks.
Our Homework Club's calendar reflects our nearby schools in the Berryessa USD. If your child will need to come in earlier (or stay late), please make these arrangements with us as soon as possible. Also, in cases of when holidays land on days that are different from Berryessa USD, please send requests and updates by email. We will try our best to accommodate.
